Towyn & Kinmel Bay Place plan

As you may know Towyn & Kinmel Bay launched their very own Place Plan in October 2022. The Place Plan was created by a local partnership, TKB Voice, following consultation throughout 2022 and shows what the community feels the area needs over the next few years. TKB Voice are now looking for this plan to become an SPG (Supplementary Planning Guidance), this means the plan will be recognised as an official document and must be taken into account when new ideas are considered for the area. If approved, this would be the first Place Plan in Conwy to have SPG status.

For this to happen Conwy County Borough Council have to consult with everyone in the community for their opinion, the consultation will take place for 4 weeks. We are not asking for your opinion on the Plan itself, we recognise the fantastic work that has already been done by the community and TKB Voice to create the Plan, this consultation is only on the process of whether the Plan should be adopted as Supplementary Planning Guidance.
